Welcome to MY World

If a business wants to survive, it needs to tell a compelling story.  That’s what I do!   I write so the reader is part of the story, sees what I saw, feels what I felt, and experiences the same emotions that gripped me.

I build bridges, word by word.

I can tell your story, promote your destination, illustrate your achievements, sell your product, define your advantages, or communicate your objectives.

I can develop your ideas with a unique perspective, crafted to put you in the limelight.

I am currently in my 13th year as a golf course rater for a national golf publication. I was a member of the prestigious Nike Golf Player Staff from its inception in 2001 until the program was terminated in 2007.

Being a student of both golf history and course design, I continuously seek to reveal the little known stories buried among the country’s classic golfing venues.

I served as a governor of the American Seniors Golf Association and am a member of Donald Ross Society, A.W. Tillinghast Society, the Stanley Thompson Society, and the Walter Travis Society.  I have studied a golf course design curriculum taught by a member of the prestigious American Society of Golf Course Architects.

I’ve written about museums, migrating birds, resorts and fascinating destinations.  I’ve lived in Germany, Turkey and Thailand, and have a unique perspective resulting from living overseas in both eastern and western cultures.

Recent trips to Canada, Ecuador and Mexico have uncovered story ideas that span the fields of archaeology, destination travel, geology, golf, military history, and the art of wine making to mention just a few.

The butcher, the baker, the candlestick maker. Have you ever wondered what their common denominator might be?

They all fly below the radar, never in the news, and we take them for granted. For the most part, their fortes are an overlooked skill.

I love to discover and write about such individuals, reveal their talents, and tell their story. And I’ve interviewed some noteworthy people that have earned the right to be called interesting.

My advertising experience includes writing commercials to sell products and tell stories.  Ad agency writing experience includes print ads, brochures, direct mail and radio commercials.  Above all, I’ve excelled in creating attention-getting headlines for billboard and outdoor advertising campaigns.

I can help your business tell your story, make you proud,
and make the sale.

Having been a regular contributor to Tallahassee Magazine, my work has been published in several other print and online magazines including Clay Shooting USA Magazine, Divot Magazine, 850 Magazine, Golfweek.Com,, and
